Shipping & Freight Policy

Effective Date: September 15, 2025

1. General Principle

HDD Depot assists in facilitating shipping and freight arrangements but does not act as a carrier or assume responsibility for transport. All shipping terms must be confirmed in writing through the invoice and/or contract.

2. Buyer Responsibility

Buyers are responsible for arranging, approving, and paying for freight services. HDD Depot may provide quotes or connect buyers with carriers, but selection and final agreement rest solely with the buyer. All freight terms must be explicitly documented in the invoice or purchase contract.

3. Risk of Loss & Insurance

Risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer once the equipment is released by the vendor and/or collected by the carrier. HDD Depot strongly recommends that buyers obtain full insurance coverage for shipping and freight. HDD Depot disclaims liability for carrier delays, damages, accidents, or failures once the equipment has been picked up.

4. Vendor Obligations

Vendors must provide accurate pickup details, dimensions, and weight to ensure proper transport arrangements. Vendors are not responsible for freight once the carrier has taken possession unless otherwise agreed in writing.
